It was a pulsating day of records, tied records and near records as the Sunshine Tour pros blitzed Country Club Johannesburg's Woodmead course yesterday in the third round of the R2.25 million Telkom PGA.
Randpark's Andrew McLardy leads after an eight-under-par 64 and his 54-hole aggregate of 195 equals the all-time record for three rounds on the Sunshine Tour, previously posted by Nick Price in the ICL International at Zwartkop in 1994, and Zimbabwe's Barry Painting in the 2004 Botswana Open at Gaborone GC.
