Hungarian fuel prices seen rising in week on global price jump

BUDAPEST. FEBRUARY 26. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Fuel prices in Hungary are expected to increase markedly this week, thanks to a significant jump in international quoted prices of fuel products during the past week, business portal portfolio.hu reported.

Gasoline prices on international markets were up 10.4% in USD terms last week and rose 10.5% in forint terms thanks to largely unchanged exchange rates. International diesel fuel prices increased at a somewhat more modest rate last week, by 5.1% in USD and 5.2% in HUF terms.
