Feb. 25--Ask most people who the face of the Federal Reserve is and they'll likely say Alan Greenspan -- despite the former Fed chairman's retirement more than a year ago.
But a growing number of Memphians are familiar with another face -- Martha Perine Beard, who just celebrated her 10th anniversary as senior branch executive of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
That's just part of the job to Perine Beard. Those who know her give her high marks for what she does inside and outside the bank.
