Located in the historic Blue Grass country of Kentucky, where thoroughbred racing horses reign supreme, is the 1,000,000-sq-ft Rand McNally printing plant. More than 100 customers are served by this Versailles, Ky. division, which prints a mix of products including reference, juvenile, book dub, mail order, education, and religious books.
Back in 1962 when the plant was opened, there were 23 employees and 300,000 sq ft of manufacturing space. Today 1,000 employees work under one roof (23 acres) and are energized and unified by "The Spirit of Rand McNally."
