Experimenta Media Arts is an Australian organisation dedicated to the promotion of new media art and collaborative projects combining creativity and technology. Founded in 1986, the national collective organises events, films and exhibitions as well as commissioning new object-based and virtual artworks. Experimenta also hosts an outreach programme that facilitates relationships with local communities and youth groups and publishes MESH, an annual journal exploring and critically engaging with issues in new media.
