Feb. 27--The Seminole Tribe of Florida may be years away from realizing its grand vision of building a hotel-entertainment complex at its Coconut Creek casino, but the legal battles have already started. Two lawsuits filed Friday against the city of Coconut Creek accuse the City Commission of illegally approving changes to a land-use plan that are necessary for the Seminoles to build a hotel. The tribe has filed preliminary plans at Coconut Creek City Hall that call for a 24-story, 1,500-room hotel at the casino -- 500 more rooms than Broward County's largest hotel.
