Feb. 27--BEEVILLE -- Five Beeville men were arrested by Beeville police for failure to register as convicted child sex offenders as mandated by law. Two of the men were arrested on warrants issued by the Texas Attorney General's office. They are Pedro Niklas Arredondo, 35, a cook, and Richard Lemon, 38, who is unemployed. Both were arrested Feb. 14 in Beeville. Arredondo is required to register for the rest of his life, said police Lt. Reagan Scott. Arredondo served time for sexual assault in Florida before moving to Beeville. Lemon served a probation sentence for a 1990 sexual assault committed in Beeville.
