TORONTO, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tm Bioscience Corporation (TSX: TMC), a leader in the commercial genetic testing market, announced today that it has received a final order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approving the plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) to effect the acquisition of Tm Bioscience by Luminex Corporation .
As previously announced, the shareholders and optionholders of Tm Bioscience approved the transaction at the Tm Bioscience special meeting held on February 23, 2007. The transaction is expected to close on or about March 1, 2007 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
