Feb. 27--Remember our tease a week or two ago about a local restaurant owner buying the Damon's Grill on Airport Road?
Here's the rest of the story. The local restaurant owner is the Dontas family, which runs the Copperhead Grille in Upper Saucon Township and the Parkland Restaurant in Allentown.
The Dontas clan closed on its purchase of the Damon's building a little over a week ago, and plans to reopen the restaurant as a second Copperhead sometime this spring. The intent is to turn the building into a "flagship" for the Copperhead concept, family member Michael Dontas said.
