To know Naked Cowboy is to ride the open range of the subconscious, to walk fearlessly into a bar fight at the Existentialism Saloon wearing nothing but tighty-whities.

His parents may know him as Robert Burck of Cincinnati, but thousands more recognize him as New York City's Naked Cowboy, a beefcake busker in Times Square whose all-weather uniform is little more than hat, boots and red-white-and-blue guitar.
