During 2006, the fine art and specie market experienced big changes, especially with large risks. Underwriters were concerned about the rise in the value of public and private collections, as auction houses broke records, and they were also worried about the concentration of value in exhibitions where hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of fine art gather in one place. Brokers needed to be creative with coverage for large shows, especially international ones.
