Charity has a new home: Catholic Charities' move to Third Street offices nearly doubled the space in which it operates.

Feb. 28--NIAGARA FALLS -- Catholic Charities has had a presence in the city since 1928. So when the Seneca Gaming Corp. bought the building where it leased space, it decided to turn the change into an opportunity to grow.

Bishop Edward U. Kmiec of the Diocese of Buffalo blessed the organization's new digs at a Tuesday event, praying for the staff and "all those who will come here for guidance and assistance."

The new office in Suite 15 of the building at 256 Third St. is less than a block from the old place in the former Niagara Office Building. It is the central office of the Catholic outreach organization in Niagara County, and has nearly ...
