Mar. 1--South Florida gasoline prices have spiked as high as 28 cents a gallon in the last month and are likely to continue climbing -- to the dismay of area consumers.
"I was very happy that the price was going down and now it's going up again," said Kwame Tweneboah, a North Lauderdale resident and a member of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel's gas panel. "We can't win."
The February price increases followed a period of declining prices in January when regular fell as low at $2.03 a gallon at one station.
