Mar. 1--Beverages and chips were there. The music video game Dance Dance Revolution was primed and ready to go -- just waiting for the kids. A couple of teens peeked through a door of the Pearl Bailey Library, not sure what to expect. Librarians Megan Snyder and Sonya Scott motioned for them to come in. "I'll try it with you," said Scott. "I bet I can beat you, but I'll try to not beat you too much."
It was the first time the Newport News library on Wickham Avenue and 25th Street sponsored the video game event, and Synder hoped the 20 teens who registered would show up. "It's hard to get teens into the library, ...
