Arbitration panel starts hearing Essar, HEL row on BPL merger
Mumbai, Mar 1 (PTI) An arbitration panel has started proceedings to resolve the tussle between Hong Kong-based Hutchison Telecom International and domestic corporate Essar, the two partners in Hutchison Essar Ltd, over the merger of BPL (Mumbai) circle in the mobile joint venture.
The panel, headed by retired Justice R S Pathak, met here yesterday for the first time. The panel is likely to announce a decision in 45 days, sources said.
