THE KZN Surf Lifesaving Championships, hosted by the KZN South Association and which were to have been held at Warnadoone this weekend, have been postponed until next weekend because of treacherous sea conditions.
The arrangements for next weekend remain the same, with teams to assemble at 8.30am on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.
The championships have an inter-club format with Umhlanga Rocks, Suncoast Pirates, Durban Surf and Marine SLC from KZN Central and Amanzimtoti, Warnadoone, Margate Saints, Winklespruit, Scottburgh, Umtamvuna and Margate from KZN South, making a total of 11 clubs with an aggregate of about 270 lifesavers.
