Mar. 4--The gut-wrenching sounds of a man being stabbed to death filled a Philadelphia courtroom Friday as a prosecutor played a 911 tape of the victim pleading for his life.
"Don't kill me -- yo, man, c'mon, man!" begged Reinaldo Zayas, 25, who could then be heard screaming in agony. "Don't stab me, please, man!"
For 18 minutes, the sounds -- and the begging -- continued while grim-faced jurors listened intently and Zayas' family members listened in pain.
"Please, God. Let me go. Please!" an anguished Zayas could be heard pleading just before the call ended.
The tape was played in the capital-murder ...
