Mar. 4--ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Greg Oden was waiting for a solid week of practice to feel comfortable enough to shoot free throws in a game with his right hand again. Ohio State's first bye of the season last week gave it to him.
For the first time in two months, Oden shot free throws with his surgically repaired right hand and wrist yesterday in Ohio State's 65-61 victory over Michigan in Crisler Arena. After missing his first try, he made his last four.
"The second one, I was so scared I was going to air-ball it," he said. "I haven't air-balled all year."
