LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE: GBX), a leading supplier of intermodal transportation equipment and services to the railroad industry, today reported a 68 percent increase in net earnings on a 15 percent revenue increase for the first fiscal quarter ended November 30, 1994 compared to the same period in the prior fiscal year. The revenue and earnings increase was achieved from growth in both the company's major business segments: manufacturing, and leasing and services.
Revenues for the quarter rose to $79.7 million, a 15 percent increase from $69.0 million in the same period in fiscal 1994. Net earnings growth ...
