Mar. 5--The Palm Beach County public affairs office didn't want to waste any time connecting with lawmakers and lobbyists this year when they gather in Tallahassee on Tuesday to open their annual nine-week session.
The very next day, right in the Capitol courtyard, organizers of the annual Palm Beach County Days schmoozefest will offer up everything from hot dogs to a 4-foot vodka slide to Mardi Gras beads to entice the powerbrokers close enough to bend their ears and elbows with Palm Beach County concerns.
