The December 2006/ January 2007 news article by Russell Murdock, which stated that "while seafood is part of a healthy diet, consumers should know risk," conveyed the unfortunate message that fish are an important part of a healthy diet.
Perhaps it would be better to say that fish can be part of a healthy diet--eating fish may arguably be better for one's health than eating steak, but those are not the only options, and to convey the impression that a healthy diet must include fish does a disservice both to fish and human health.
