ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 1995--The Golf Channel Wednesday announced that it has secured charter sponsorship agreements with three major golf companies: Titleist and Foot-Joy Worldwide, Nicklaus Golf Equipment Co. and Izod Club Golf and Tennis.
"The demonstration of support from inside the golf industry is a huge boost for our initial effort," said chief operating officer Gary Stevenson. "Clearly, these companies believe that The Golf Channel is a very unique opportunity to reach an extremely targeted audience and have put their resources behind their commitment."
