TULSA, Okla., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- On Jan. 4, Educational Development Corp. (Nasdaq: EDUC) issued a news release announcing record earnings for nine months ended Nov. 30, 1994. Sales were up 48 percent and net earnings 69 percent over the same period last year. Also, the company was listed in Fortune Magazine's Jan. 16 issue as the 12th best performing stock on Nasdaq for the year 1994. With all this positive news, Randall White, president and chief executive officer, is somewhat puzzled as to why there has been such a drop in the share price.
