Jury finds Porter guilty in murder of Norfolk police officer.

Mar. 7--ARLINGTON -- Jurors this afternoon found Thomas A. Porter guilty on all charges in the October 2005 slaying of Norfolk Police Officer Stanley C. Reaves. Porter could be sentenced to death. Earlier this afternoon, in a hushed courtroom, prosecutor Phil Evans addressed jurors about to consider Porter's fate. "My greatest fear is that somehow my word will fail to convey the enormity of this case to each of you," Evans said. Evans walked jurors through more than a week of testimony and evidence.
