Mar. 8--The Israel Police National Fraud Unit has completed its investigation into the Agrexco Agricultural Export Co. tours affair, in which the company paid for foreign trips for MK Ruhama Avraham (Kadima) and MK Eli Aflalo (Kadima). The police have sent the file over to the State Prosecutor's Office, but say that the case is "borderline".
Avraham, who serves as chairperson of the Knesset House Committee, is suspected of receiving bribes, breach of trust, and breach of the gifts law. The police questioned her for several hours a month ago, during which she gave her version of events. The police did not Aflalo as a suspect, but ...
