North Korea to counter enriched uranium program allegations: report
SEOUL (Yonhap) -- North Korea is ready to counter allegations that it is developing a highly enriched uranium (HEU) program at an upcoming meeting on normalizing ties with the United States, a pro-Pyongyang newspaper based in Japan reported on March 5."Foreign Affairs Vice Minister Kim Kye-gwan expressed an intent to counter the U.S. evidence on the HEU program and is confident of solving the problem," said the Choson Sinbo, a Korean-language newspaper published by the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.
