Mar. 10--UA quarterback Willie Tuitama will enroll in a county diversion program after Friday's arraignment on minor in possession of alcohol charges.
Tuitama, 20, has until June 10 to complete the misdemeanor counseling and education program. If he can do that, the Pima County Justice Court will waive all charges and cancel a review hearing tentatively scheduled for Aug. 8.
Tuitama said he is taking the charges -- and the diversion program -- seriously.
