Mar. 10--PANAMA CITY Panama City's mayor has until Monday to pay $6,714.03 to the Bay County Tax Collector for claiming homestead exemption on two properties at the same time several years ago.
If Lauren DeGeorge does not bring a money order or cash by 2 p.m., officials with the Bay County Property Appraiser's Office said they will place a lien on her current homesteaded property, The Sapp House, a historic home in downtown Panama City.
