Mar. 11--HURON -- New Underwood found some finishing offense from an unlikely source and finished off the Timber Lake Panthers Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers turned to Shelby Brantley in overtime to record a 50-43 win in the seventh-place game of the State B girls' basketball tournament at the Huron Arena.
Brantley, a sophomore reserve who averages 2.7 points per game, found herself in the spotlight with the game on the line. After managing just one point in regulation, Brantley scored seven points in overtime to key the victory.
