SUDBURY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JANUARY 16, 1995--Symbollon Corporation (NASDAQ-SYMBU, SYMBA, SYMBW, SYMBZ) announced today that West Agro, Inc. of Kansas City, MO ("West Agro") and Symbollon have signed a marketing and supply agreement covering a new product called IodoZymeTM for cleaning and sanitizing the cow udder before and after milking to help prevent mastitis which causes in excess of $2 billion annually in lost milk production in the U.S. alone.
