It's cold in Chicago in winter, but at Kaveri, a boutique in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, spring items are selling like it's 65 and sunny. "We've had a great response to spring so far, even though the weather doesn't match the clothes," said owner Kaveri Satpathy.

No doubt some of Satpathy's well-heeled customers are planning to wear these items - including a black-and-white floral print cotton tunic with sequin details ($265) and a black basket-weave shift ($365), both from Tory Burch - on a spring getaway.
