Vero Beach, Fla. -- Billy DeLury made his first visit to Dodgertown in 1951, and he has memories of sitting around this spring training site, listening to the Boys of Summer shoot the breeze. The Dodgers' longtime traveling secretary walks down the hallway from the old clubhouse and sees the old black-and-white photos on the wall. Somehow, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider and Gil Hodges are still larger than life.
"You hear the echo," DeLury said. "Some things you never forget."
