A University of Oregon student who was hit by a car as he crossed a street near campus has died of his injuries.
Brian Sanford Reams, 22, died Monday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene.
Originally from Idaho, Reams was a junior majoring in human physiology and minoring in business. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
He was struck about 2:45 a.m. Sunday as he crossed Hilyard Street at East 15th Avenue, Eugene police said. Reams suffered severe head injuries and a broken leg. He was removed from life support Monday at the hospital.
