INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - RETAIL: National Banner Market Booms Prior to Revolution Anniversary - The demand for national and historic Hungarian banners is on the rise prior to the national holiday on March 15, the anniversary of the 1848 Hungarian revolution against Hapsburg Austria. While municipalities typically buy a lot of the red, white and green national flags prior to holidays to decorate their respective localities, the leap in the number of private buyers has greatly increased sales this year, distributors say.
