Joe Fusco Jr. writes poems, and to help sell his work he has delivered his words live at various open mikes and poetry events.
Inevitably, people began asking Fusco for recordings of his work.
"I guess people just don't read as much," said Fusco, an ironist who likely finds more creative fuel than despair in such a situation.
So in response to requests, Fusco produced "How Ya Doing?", a CD of 30 poems, two songs and one fractured lullaby. The poet called the collection "greatest hits" from his featured readings, and Fusco succeeded in giving his debut CD an air of being-there intimacy and immediacy. Rather ...
