PRINCETON - The Wachusett Mountain Advisory Council will ask the state Department of Conservation and Recreation to keep it in the loop regarding changes to its lease agreement with the owners of Wachusett Mountain Ski Area.
The council voted at its quarterly meeting last night to send a letter to DCR making the request after learning that the agency had amended the lease agreement, as part of a 30-year lease extension, without seeking the council's input.
The council also voted to ask DCR for permission to form a committee to draw up a new map of the ski area's boundaries to present to the state agency for approval.
