Mar. 12--BLOOMFIELD -- Listen for the noise of construction this week around the Greene County Courthouse. Weddle Brothers Construction Co. and county officials have made amends, for now.
So after being idle for a month, construction workers said Friday they were ready to return to the old courthouse interior to complete its renovation.
Weddle Brothers walked away from the project, saying it was due more than $700,000 for work that has been completed.
In response, the county claimed it had no documentation that work had been carried out in accordance with the contract with Weddle, and said no payment would be ...
