Mar. 13--TWIN FALLS -- Ladies and gentlemen, the president of the United States aa- W. Lane Startin.
Well, not yet anyway.
A Twin Falls resident, 33-year-old Startin may not be a principal '08 candidate in real life, but in the virtual world, he's got a shot at becoming the next president.
He's a top Democratic candidate at U4prez.com, a Web site for those who dream of one day holding the nation's premier political title. Since joining the site last month, Startin's meteoric rise can be described only as Obamaesque.
