BABY Alison Hamilton was in a hurry to make her grand entrance.
The little bundle of joy couldn't wait to get to hospital, preferring to put in a surprise appearance at her expectant mum's home.
It meant paramedic Alan Mc- Gregor and ambulance technician John Yuill were forced to stand in as midwives.
They both kept a cool head and helped deliver 5Ibs 11oz Alison - much to the delight of proudmum Kate and dad Joe, who live in Fairbourne.
It was Alan and John's first birth since joining the Welsh Ambulance Service.
And for Alan itwas a bit of a trial run; his girlfriend is expecting a baby in a few weeks.
