WAUWATOSA, Wis., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Briggs & Stratton Corporation (NYSE: BGG) today approved an amendment to the Company's Share Purchase Rights Plan to change the termination of the rights issued under the Plan from January 2000 to July 1, 1996.
