WASHINGTON -- Americans for the Arts, one of the nation's leading nonprofit organizations for advancing the arts in America, announces three newly elected members to its Public Art Network (PAN) Council, a group that advises the organization's board and staff on the expanding and diverse field of public art. PAN is designed to provide services for public art practitioners and develop strategies and tools to improve communities through public art. More than 350 public art programs currently exist in the United States at state and local levels.
