ABSTRACT
Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) is a treatment that aims to improve upper limb function following stroke. Much of the literature to date claims substantial treatment effects even though efficacy and clinical utility have not been established through large randomised controlled trials. This study sought to evaluate aspects of utility including the level of restraint use and to determine which standardized outcome measures were more responsive to CIMT.
