Mar. 15--On a day given over to celebrating pi, seventh-grader Drew Whitaker kicked things off at an assembly at St. Paul Academy and Summit School with an ode to the storied mathematical constant. "Like a Coke on a blazing summer day," he began, "You are the Zeus of numbers."
Pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, got attention befitting a Greek god Wednesday from schools, museums and various geeky sites on the Internet.
