With a three-point lead and 20.6 seconds remaining, Jesuit's Kevin Chalmers toed the line for a pair of free throws.
Chalmers, who had just witnessed Canby erase nearly all of his team's 12-point lead with less than three minutes left, calmly sank both free throws and the third-ranked Cougars' 19-game winning streak.
"When we shoot free throws, (coach Gene Potter) puts us in pressure situations," Chalmers, who scored a game-high 17 points, said of practice. "I always tell myself to stay calm, and it's just like practice every day.
