Mar. 15--Arts Day 2007, featuring a half day of networking, legislative visits and advocacy briefing, will culminate with the Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio and Arts Day Luncheon in Columbus on Wednesday. The event is sponsored by the Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council. The day begins at 9 a.m. with advocacy briefing in at the Vern Riffe Center, 77 S. High St., (on the northwest corner of State and High streets, across from the Statehouse). The briefing will be led by arts council President Jeff Rich and legislative counsel William Blair.
