Mar. 15--New criminal charges and a petition for indefinite civil commitment as a high-risk sex offender await a Rochester man recently released from prison. Brian Alan Aakre, 28, was released from prison in late January but immediately transferred to the St. Peter Security Hospital to be held pending resolution of a petition filed by the Olmsted County attorney's office for civil commitment as a sexually dangerous person.
