Most of us have read at least one magazine article pitting computer-aided software engineering (Case) technology against object-oriented (OO) technology. These articles give the impression that an enterprise should choose either one technology or the other. But that may not be in the firm's best interest.
While Case is often considered synonymous with application modeling, the term refers to any method of engineered or structured software development that is enchanced or eased by a computerized application.
