Mar. 16--Hamilton County will receive almost $4 million in federal money to help guide Tennessee's fight against methamphetamine. The grant includes $987,000 for intelligence and $2.9 million that will go toward operations of the statewide Meth Task Force, said Russ Dedrick, the U.S. attorney for East Tennessee. The task force in Southeast Tennessee, headquartered in Hamilton County, is 7 years old, Mr. Dedrick said.
