Mar. 16--NORFOLK -- Thursday morning, Winston and Kelly Gwathmey weren't sure where they'd end up. They wouldn't know for a few more hours yet.
But everything seemed to have worked out so far. They met on the first day of orientation at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2003. Clicked right away. "My plan was to find the brightest girl in the class and hitch my wagon to hers," Winston said. Later on he would add that she was the prettiest, too. They were married in October.
