Mar. 16--You have to hand it to a band that builds its entire body of work on its absolute blind faith that it'll someday fill arenas.

In other words, My Chemical Romance was born for a loud, theatrical, Queen-meets-Tim Burton type of musical storytelling. Few bands can get away with this stylistic grandiosity, let alone excel at it. But the band delivered Thursday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
